Ein Bokek Hotels

90% of Dead Sea hotels are in Ein Bokek, a small community consisting primarily of hotels with a few restaurants and stores all geared towards the many tourists who head here in all seasons of the year.

You could divide the Ein Bokek hotels into those situated right on the beach and those just across the road. Obviously it’s great to step out of your hotel and onto the beach but the short distance needed to cross the road from the other hotels makes this a moot point.

The 4 and 5 star hotels are closest to the water but there are also 1, 2 and 3 star hotels, they are just situated further from the sea itself. One of the most reputable is Villa 1000 (360NIS) and Shkedi’s Camplodge (103NIS) lets you sleep in tents on mattresses draped in colorful material – Bedouin style (103NIS). The problem with these cheaper accommodations is that they are a fair way from the water. Zimmer Dora (545NIS) is the closest 1 star hotel to the water (545NIS). Le Meridien Dead Sea Hotel 5* (909NIS) is a resort hotel in Ein Bokek known for its luxurious facilities like the tennis courts, large pool, private beach, kid’s pool and babysitting service and appealing décor.
